First we have to refit our cheap sailboat, a 1976 31ft Westerly Berwick ready to travel across to France, through the French canals and into the Mediterranean sea. Here we plan to gain more sailing experience and source a larger sail boat to carry our tools and equipment. Although novices at boat renovation and refits we are sharing as much of the refit and engine installation and tips as we can, before setting out on our new minimalistic but hopefully fulfilling life.
