Bums on a Boat is a story. It starts with reckless abandon, throwing all caution to the wind. Just bloody go for it and see what happens. It's not pretty but it sure is exciting. We wanted to live an alternative way of life, no more 9 to 5, no more playing by the rules. This is adventure, sailing with no previous experience, fixing a sailboat with no skills and sailing the world with little money. Living as if there really were no tomorrow. Feeling freedom in the mind and body. Look how we want, talk how we want and live how we want. Everything has a price. Love became a beautiful part of this story but it ended in heartbreak. Now only I (Joel) remain. These are the Tales of BOAB!

Welcome to Good Deeds Sailing Sailing around the world doing good deeds! :) We are Lee, a maintenance engineer, and Kara (Karolina) a dental hygienist, and together with our cat PJ we plan to fulfill our dream of sailing around the world doing charity work as and where we can. First we have to refit our cheap sailboat, a 1976 31ft Westerly Berwick ready to travel across to France, through the French canals and into the Mediterranean sea. Here we plan to gain more sailing experience and source a larger sail boat to carry our tools and equipment. Although novices at boat renovation and refits we are sharing as much of the refit and engine installation and tips as we can, before setting out on our new minimalistic but hopefully fulfilling life. Join us on our crazy adventure as we set off around the world doing good deeds.

Sailing the world to see the world! We're a couple of high school sweethearts in our late 30's that have been on the move for 9 years; creating videos of the ups, the downs, our triumphs and our trials. After circumnavigating the North Atlantic in our last boat Serendipity, (1989 Sabre Targa 34), we took on a 2 year complete refit of our new boat Elements of Life - a custom aluminum 37' monohull. After sailing her to the Arctic, we sold her in 2020 to begin our newest project of building a 42 ft catamaran. Check out our website for more information, and support us by subscribing to our channel and liking our videos.

Documenting the sailing adventures, restoration endeavours, and life changing moments in the lives of Maya and Aladino. We aim to tell beautiful stories about worthwhile adventures. The main story: Maya and Aladino fell in love, finished restoring Magic Carpet, and are now sailing on her and documenting the journey. Maya's back story: Before Maya met Aladino, she owned a sailboat in Canada which she got for $1. We have a mini series on this channel all about that. Aladino's back story: Before Aladino met Maya, he bought a shipwreck that had fallen 20 feet off a crane onto concrete. He then fixed that boat up, and it is now Magic Carpet. We have a mini series on this channel about what Aladino learned during that restoration.

Hi! We are Ben & MP and we now own a massive wooden schooner that needs A LOT of work done. Many people told us the boat we chose was doomed, but we refuse to settle on that thought and we are going to do whatever it takes to make this boat a happy sailor again. We are both rookies when it comes to boat ownership and carpentry, so this is going to be a steep learning curve for us which we are ready to embrace. Luckily we found an amazing team of shipwrights that accepted the challenge of bringing Yabá back to life. But we are not only watching them work, besides documenting everything, we are also very keen to learn so we can do as much as possible ourselves, always knowing when to leave it to the experts. Follow our journey to watch how this story unfolds and... wish us luck! www.sailingyaba.com

Robinson and Justine are sailing the seas and living simply. We sailed tiny C&C 24 'Maiweh' down the Pacific Coast to San Francisco. We took on a bigger sailboat project there, a Buccaneer 335 name 'Rossa', and sailed her to Mexico. Now, we are currently working on an even larger sailboat named 'Inesperado', a Vennekens Koral 40 pilothouse sloop. Robi grew up on a boat, and Justine only learned how to sail several years ago. Just a minimalist single-hander slowly cruising the world on my Grinde 27' I'm currently in French Polynesia with plans to head to the Cook Islands, Fiji, and beyond this season. . Some background: I grew up on my parent's Cal25 while they were completing their own circumnavigation. Sailing is in my blood, and I've spent more than half my life living on a boat. If you want to learn more about my upbringing, check out episode 3! If it so pleases you, you can follow my channel for original videos about my boat overhaul and day-to-day life aboard
